4 Million Views and Counting

Lyric videos have become really important to an artist radio campaign.  If you can build numbers then you can convince radio programmers that the single has impact.  Mat Kearney's "Just Kids" album was in the midst of a major marketing push with Inpop Records and Republic Records when The Groundswell did creative direction for his single "Air I Breathe."  

Mat spoke into the direction and we partnered with our friend Joel Banta to create an amazing video.  It is one of Mat's top performing videos all time now above 4 million views

Matt Papa - EP Launch

We love Matt Papa.  It was so fun to pair him with Christian Paschall - a great producer and Maren Morris' drummer.  The five-song ep has had a strong showing and has received rave reviews from Relevant Magazine and Worship Leader Magazine.  Matt's hymn, "His Mercy Is More" is a standout from this project and is a top-performing song at CCLI.  

Inpop Records - Website and Marketing Reboot

An indie record label, Inpop Records, had a new team and wanted a new story, website and direct-to-consumer platform including email and social media. The backbone of this site was built on Nationbuilder which would allow Inpop to do CRM for a street team.  We integrated the record label's entire musical catalog to enhance its SEO ability and to drive traffic.  


Video Production: V.Rose + Flame

In 2016 we worked with V.Rose and were able to pull in Hip-hop artist Flame in a studio in Nashville, TN for the "Money$ On You" video.  The Groundswell provided creative guidance, executive production and project management for this video which was created in two phases.  Phase 1 was the traditional video shoot which we did with Patrick Tohill (NF, Newsboys).  Phase 2 was the lyric portion.  

This video was done on a shoestring budget but you wouldn't know that and we are proud of that fact.
